Alexander Ads Go Up on TV

The campaign has produced a 30-second TV spot which focuses on opponent Rogers’ history of voting in lockstep for the devastating policies of George W. Bush, and promotes Alexander’s plans to work for positive change for the residents of the 8th District and all Americans.

The Lansing State Journal, the largest paper in our district, just endorsed us. More and more, the politically savvy crowd is recognizing that we’ve got the right man for the job. We need some cash to get out our message and get out the vote.

Bob Alexander, Democratic nominee for Michigan’s 8th Congressional District, headed to Denver early Sunday morning, driving his Chevy Malibu hybrid. Alexander planned to make connections and raise money for his campaign using a “one-stop” approach instead of traveling around the state meeting with potential donors and supporters. Accompanying Alexander on the 38-hour round trip are the campaign’s Operations Manager, a Field Organizer and a videographer. The group’s Denver activities are being chronicled daily on the nationally known E-zine “One for the Table.”
