Bob Alexander earned a B.A. in American History from the University of Michigan and served in the Peace Corp in India. He also served in the National Teachers Corp, where Bob received his M.A. in Teaching from Wayne State University. As a student and teacher Bob knows that public education is very important. Bob wants to invest in education at all levels. He strongly wants to make college loans and tuition more affordable for students and their families. Bob worked for two State Senators as a State Policy Analyst in Medicaid and Energy programs. Recently Bob is known for his hard work for a local petition drive that helped raise Michigan's Minimum Wage by 29%, and his work on the Ingham Health Plan that extends coverage to low income people!
